Students of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, are currently staging a peaceful protest on their campus. This is what you call administrative deficiency. How on earth will the authority fix exam timetable at a period the school will receive the President? There are event centres and hotels in Ile-Ife. I can imagine the hardship the innocent students would have gone through. The distance from the gate to Lecture halls alone is stressful if you attempt to trek. Today exam should have been postponed or there President meet the people at different venue

Smh for these ones, is it not your mates in uniben that's making Nigeria proud? Which failed educational system? Is it not clear na that all ASUU thinks of is themselves. They increased their salary, no more strike. Student of OAU, if u use this time to read u might just make a 2'1 rather than 2'2.

Gej came to share money that is gradually losing it value. I was observing Olusegun Aganga displaying his thuggish attitude to student. Ghana must go bags were just finding there ways into cars. What of Fayose? Different story entirely. Jona the briber. What's the essence of his visitation.

Why shouldn't the activities be suspended especially when it has to do With An August visitor like the President? Gosh these students lack respect. ..

And after, OAU will be counted as a schl?......so disappionted in them. What happens to their school security? Authority and all?...seems like they all supported the action. To me, before they protest, they should go and do some background work see wat GEJ have really achieved......they have bin used as an instruments by the politicians.

You are an addicted foolish fellow. This student are non-partisan. They are just airing their views. Jonathan is the president, the CEO of this country. He is solely responsible for the success and failure of every parastatals. All what about gej life now is how to win 2nd term. He doesn't care about quality governance. Does he even reflect over his adminstration. A lot of problem without no solution, both inherited and new ones he create.

Anonymous said...

Next thing he will be advised to buy stoves or pots for the students. He he he

Anonymous said...

You sure have your brain in your ass - that's even with the assumption that you have one. Buffoon!!!

Anonymous said...

Yes, we know he doesn't care about us anymore and we don't need him anymore. Come 2015, his popularity is going reduced drastically. I, that voted last election will not have my vote and numerous vote this time around. We have know the kind of person he is. Facts, a lot people voted for him in the last election without bother to know a lot him. The Yar'adua(RIP) saga heighten his love and popularity, coupled with the Oct 1 bomblast now filled with conspiracy, I have no shoes campaign and host of others. Come 2015, it is going to highly competitive and he might even lose gallantly.

My people in South East, South South South West and others, this is not about ethnic or religion influence. We need a credible leader to redeem the glory of this country and take it to greater height. We need a government that is transparent. That will be inventful in decisions and many more. Imagine, in this country, we are still suffering from down syndrome from basic amenities. We have to collective in our mindset. If it is better for your neighbour next door, it will definitely affects you. Go get the right to vote and protect your vote. If there are clear signs of rigging or cheating in any form, then we meet in court of the law. Nigeria will not be bad to called a kangaroo kingdom.
