On September 13th, actress Monalisa Chinda influenced hundreds of celebs to walk towards sending less priviledged children to school in commemoration of her 40th birthday. The well-attended walk saw over 550 celebrities, volunteers and children participate in Slum2School Africa's Charity fundraising Walk which held in Lekki Lagos to support the education of 1000 children living in slums and remote communities in Nigeria and build mentorship hubs to facilitate community development.

The walk attracted AY,  Alibaba, Julius Agwu, Ufuoma Ejenobor, Timi Dakolo, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Tonye Cole, Segun Arinze and so many others. See the photos after the cut...

I know of Street to School run by Tosin, God bless her work, hope slum2school know it's beyond bringing celebs to work, once n if donors give you what the promised u den move to convincing the kids' parents to let their kids stay in school after a few months rather than go sell pure water.

The problem with this generation is that they don't read b4 they Comment! Check Google for Slum2School & see how much young ppl like urself are doing for kids in slums like makoko, bariga, etc. Abi na for Makoko they go raise funds to help the same children for makoko. Get real ppl and join others doing good things. God bless you guys biko.

Nice pictures. I want to volunteer for Slum2School. I have applied before but not yet chosen. PlsI'm passionate about helping those kids o.

I watched a video of the Slum2skul founder on NdaniTV and I have never been more Inspired! This guy quit his job wen he was 23years to start this project. Who does that? I asked myself this Question! If every young person in Nigeria can make such a sacrifice for Nigeria we would be a better country . But unfortunately lots of youths are so negative and even worse the devil in secret. We shld learn how to start supporting good causes. I'm in the UK and iv made up my mind to come back home and contribute my quota to build Nigeria. We need more positive minded youth and you can be the next.
